Week One Blog Entry: Introductions

My name is Natalina Ciarapica, but most people call me Natalie. This is my first year attending Eastern Shore Community College. I am taking four classes, two of which are online. Once I complete General Studies, I will be transferring to a four year college.

The main reason I am starting at the community college is because I am unsure about what career path to take. I have considered Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Vet Tech. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals, and this is the profession I am leaning towards. I am eager to start college and further my education.

When I am not at school, I am working as a waitress at the local marina. I love music and have always been very passionate about it. I was in the Honors Choir all through Jr. high as well as high school. I am also passionate about volleyball. I started playing volleyball when I was in sixth grade, and have been playing ever since. In my spare time, I help coach varsity at my old school.

  1. Hey Natalie!

Going to Community College before deciding which path to take is a very smart choice! I see that you are in doubt on which career to choose, but I can see that Vet Tech has a special place in your heart, and I think that it probably what you will choose. Vet Tech is an awesome career, and it must be very rewarding as well. I think you will be very successful in any career that you choose.

Look forward to working with you!
